Mushroom Speedway doesn't have seasons, not really. Everyday is a prelude to summer, its denizens embodying the newness that the season of spring departs from after a job well done.
The Speedway's tiny island is riddled with occupants whose growths have benefited greatly from this Homeworld's rich supply of oxygen. The sensations of things like anger or sadness aren't a common occurrence here.
However, as The Forgotten Realms adjust to its newly quenched thirst for the dragon magic that helps it thrive, the balance of this side of the portal has shifted ever so slightly.
The sun's beams strengthen as they pierce through the thick humidity of Mushroom Speedway's air, and Bianca and Hunter are at odds with eachother.
"C'mon, Bianca! What's so scary about it?"
Enter a scowling rabbit with her arms crossed, her foot tapping, and her daggered stare aimed at a very persistent cheetah. "You know I'm not a fan of flying, Hunter. It's really that simple."
He lets go of his shrug with a lengthy sigh before lifting himself back up.
"But it's so hot out - the wind'll do ya some good!"
With her chin held high, Bianca turns her head the other way. She doesn't particularly like admitting her fears out loud.
"Boy," Hunter chuckles, "you sure are stubborn."
